Wild Animal Fights

This is a classic. Bull vs Bear has been the most requested fight since this blog began. I guess it makes sense with the state of the stock market and all. Here we go..

The bovine bull is an extremely aggressive animal. If provoked it will fight until death. El Toro Bravo, as it is known in Spanish Bull Fighting, can weigh close to a ton and can reach a top speed of 40 mph. It is supremely strong, with tight muscle all over its body. The bull will attack relentlessly and can protect its body well.

The Grizzly Bear is one of the top competitors so far in Wild Animal Fight Club. Undoubtedly one of the most revered predators on Earth, the bear attacks and kills large animals such as Elk. This fight will be a good test of its strength and fighting ability.

This fight gets of to a fast start as the bull will immediately go into defense mode when encountered with the grizzly bear. Each animal would charge directly at each other, with the bull getting the best of the head on collision. With the bear down, the bull starts to continually "buck" into it. The grizzly is able to get up and try to mount another attack but it is tired and wounded from being pounded on by the bull.

In closer to the bull, the bear raises up and attempts to give the cow a crushing blow to the head. However, as the bear stands tall it is left vulnerable to the quick charging bull who crashes into the bear's chest stabbing it with its horns.

Another fight that is garnering a ton of suggestions has been the matchup between a Tiger vs Gorilla. This is an extremely interesting battle due to the unique qualities of each animal.

Although primarily a vegetarian, the Gorilla is equipped with 2 inch canine teeth and one of the strongest bite forces on the planet. Silverbacks have enough arm strength to flip a family sized sedan. 

The Siberian Tiger is the largest of all the big cats on the planet. It routinely attacks and kills large predators such as Asiatic Black Bears as prey. This Tiger is an extremely impressive animal which has no natural predators.

If a Silverback Gorilla were to ever be pitted against a Siberian Tiger, both animals would be cautious in making the first move. The Gorilla would try to stand as large as possible, pound its chest, and yell as loud as it could in order to try and scare off the Tiger.This plan would backfire and insight the cautious tiger into attacking. The huge cat would pounce straight for the Ape's throat. With the Gorilla caught off guard the Tiger is able to avoid the Gorilla's powerful arms and get inside. The Gorilla ferociously tries to bite at the Tiger, but its too late. The Tiger sticks its four inch canine teeth through the neck of the Gorilla and the fight is over.

    Great White Shark Facts                Killer Whale Facts

This fight has been suggested by a ton of visitors. Its a battle between the two baddest animals in the Ocean.

The Great White Shark is the largest predatory fish on the planet and one of my all time favorite animals. This beast can swim up to 15 mph. It can breach the water completely The great white shark typical attacks and hunts seals and sea lions but will also gorge on whale carcasses when available.

The Orca is the largest type of Dolphin and one of the World's most powerful predators. Orcas became known as Killer Whales because they are Whale Killers. In addition to feasting on seals, sea lions, and large fish, Orcas actively hunt gray whales that can be as large as 45 ft and 35 tons.

The reason for writing about this fight is that it was an extremely popular suggestion. However, there really is no fight here. As much as I love the Great White Shark it wouldn't have a chance of besting an Orca in a fight. The whale is too big, too fast, and too strong for even the biggest of White Sharks. In fact Orca's have been known to kill and eat Great White Sharks.

     Kodiak Bear facts                        Polar bear facts

Kodiak Bears are the largest subspecies of Brown Bears and are found only on the on Kodiak Island off the Southern coast of Alaska. These Bears grow so much bigger than other Brown Bears and Grizzlies because they are able to feed on washed up whale carcasses as well as an abundance of Pacific Salmon. Brown Bears are some of the most aggressive animals on the planet.

The Polar Bear is the largest Bear on Earth. It is longer but more slender than the Kodiak. The Polar Bear is a social animal but when hungry it will attack and eat just about anything. Polar Bears most commonly attack seals but also will hunt Walrus and have even killed and eaten beluga whales.

This fight pits two massive bears with distinct backgrounds against each other. The Kodiak is a more aggressive species while the Polar Bear is experienced in killing very large prey.The two bears would attack each other head on with the Polar Bear getting the best of the first scrum with its longer arms and neck. The extreme layers of fat the Kodiak has would help it avoid fatal injuries. The Brown Bear, experienced in many territorial fights with other large bears, would retaliate with all of its strength and weight. This charge from the massive Kodiak would knock the Polar bear to the ground and it would never get back up.

This would be a great fight against too apex predators of similiar size. Cougars and Wolves do occupy many of the same habitats and fights occur naturally.

The Gray Wolf is the largest member of canine family.  A Wolf will never back down from a fight and is able to prey animals much larger than itself, including Deer, Elk, and even Moose. Wolves are skilled fighters, attacking each other in order to determine the Alpha male, or leader of the wolf pack.

The Mountain Lion, or Cougar, is one of the most powerful predators on Earth. It also hunts and kills prey that are many times its size, but the cougar can take down a full grown elk with a single powerful charge and a quick bite to the neck.

The Wolf would most likely initiate this fight as it is a deteremined killer and will try to kill and eat anything. The wolf would attempt to bite the neck of the cougar and hang untill its death. The cougar is extremely quick and would be able to dodge the wolf's initial attack. The relentless wolf will continue to press the fight as the cougar tries to escape. At this point the pissed off cougar accepts the wolf's challenge and with its superior strength quickly pins its opponent. The mountain lion clamps down on the throat of the wolf and slashes its midsection with the claws of its hind legs.

This is a good one.

Almost as hot a debate as Tiger vs Lion is the rivalry that is gorilla vs bear. These are two awesome beasts that can get really pissed off. The result of this battle will be a bloody mess.

The bear is a fierce and relentless monster. Bears love to kill and nothing would please it more than to be the victor of this battle.

Gorillas are nasty, intelligent warriors who of course have an opposable thumb. It is a proud animal that will not go down easily.

I think the Bear attacks first. The Bear attack would consist of a charge and a steady barrage of clawed slaps to the Gorilla's face. The Gorilla, with its long arms and opposable thumbs would be able to halt this first attack and escape with minor flesh wounds. The Gorilla would try to use its speed to get around the Bear and avoid its blows but would have trouble doing so. In a feeble last attempt, to kill the Grizzly the Gorilla tries throwing bananas at it. This does not stop the Bear's fatal charge as it pins the Gorilla and bites its jugular, spraying its blood everywhere.

This is the Big one. The question who would win in a fight between a lion and a tiger is one of life's great questions. The debate can get heated enough to end friendships.

Here is the final answer.

First of all for this fight we will use the Bengal Tiger, instead of the much larger Siberian Tiger, so we can give the poor Lion a chance. The fact is that the Lion still would have no shot. The Tiger is just a far superior animal. It is stronger and faster. It hunts bigger prey and doesn't need the help of something called a pride. Pride? The Lion should be ashamed.
